We were desperate for more of the CNY celebration and I saw in the paper that Singapore Zoo had lion dance performances for CNY. So on the second day of CNY, sis CW and I trekked over to the zoo for some festive fun.
Stilt walkers at the entrance
As it's the year of the rat, the zoo had a display of the largest rodent on earth. These animals at the size of a big dog!!
Not forgetting my favourite baboons. Can you see their red arses? The little ones were quite naughty fighting amongst themselves and then hugging each other afterwards!

Then we spotted a colourful-arsed monkey. Can't remember what it's called. You can just about see it's bright blue bottom!
And a bat with its wings open during daytime. I didn't know bats had penises! This one opened its wing and started peeing a long stream of piss and pooed a few pieces too!!
Our festive lion dance show. We had prime position, right in front of the performance! We even managed to stroke the lion's back.
And finally, a festive photo. It's deemed to be very lucky if you manage to get this close to a 'live' lion during it's performance.
